Klim Torrent Over Pant

The Klim 2021 Torrent Over Pant is a well made waterproof pant made to be worn over your jeans or protective pants when you encounter wet weather/cold weather. These pants offer Gore-Tex construction and long side zippers so you can put them on without having to find a dressing room.

The long side zippers are two-way on this pant so you can zip them down from the top quickly to reach into your pants pockets. The shell fabric is a very sturdy Cordura material with a bonded GoreTex liner. Being bonded means the waterproof liner is actually bonded to the fabric so there is no separate liner like with less expensive riding pants.

The Torrent is not meant to add crash protection, but rather it is assumed you'll wear these only for protection from rain. Granted the fabric used is very abrasion resistant and will enhance your sliding protection, but there are no armor elements. Without armor, they fold very flat for easy storage. You could also use these pants in cooler weather as a windbreaker layer.

Yes, this is an expensive rain pant, but as Klim points out, its a once in a lifetime rain pant purchase. You'll never need another pair.
